Mayser Safety Bumpers are active impact cushions made of soft foam with a polyurethane skin with built-in safety cut-out. They work according to the normally closed or normally open principle.
The soft foam body protects people from injuries and prevents damage to objects with short and long stopping distances. Safety Bumpers thus add to the Mayser Safety Edges range.
A t ypical area of application is the safeguarding of pinching and shearing edges in mechanical engineering, in stage machinery, medical technology and on large, heavy gates. Safety Bumpers also serve as collision protection on automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
In terms of design, shape and surface, our Safety Bumpers can be adapted to a wide variety of applications, independently of external influences such as weather conditions, chemicals and potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
